IAM H.E.L.P.S. – Homeless Veteran Stand Down Organized by Local 254 & District 6

IAM Local 254 is proud to coordinate this year’s IAM H.E.L.P.S. event for District 6, supporting Iowa’s homeless veterans through the annual Stand Down in Des Moines.

We’re calling on every Local and every member to get involved – by donating, volunteering, or showing up in solidarity.

We Need Volunteers!

IAM District 6 is looking for at least 15 volunteers for 4–6 hour shifts.
Roles include:
• Food Service
• Security
• Check-In
• Ushers & Guides
To volunteer, please see your Business Representative.

We Are Also Accepting Donations Of:

• Gently Used Clothing
• Blankets
• Sleeping Bags
• Toiletries
• Coats, Hats, Gloves
• Dog Food

Support the Cause

We’re asking each Local to sponsor this event with a donation of $25.00 or more.
Your support helps provide essential services and supplies to veterans in need.
